The company "FISON" specializes in one of the applications of the finite element analysis (FEA) method, which aids in modeling lower limb bones. FEA analysis helps in simulating and predicting fatigue failure of bones and implants used in orthopedics. The calculation of cyclic loading on bones and implants is a critical factor for the success of treatment and patient recovery
.Since 2020, we have been working to improve the rehabilitation process for patients. In 2021-2022, our company won two grants of $25,000 and $50,000 from the Ukrainian Startup Fund, which propelled the development of our business.

The main idea of our approach is to determine the optimal load on a fractured bone after osteosynthesis. This allows patients to know how much weight they can put on their lower limb to ensure the fracture heals as quickly as possible and the metal fixator remains intact. Our methods provide individually tailored recommendations that promote rapid recovery and reduce the risk of complications.

Analysis Methodology
Our process includes several key stages:
Computed Tomography (CT):
We conduct a high-precision scan of the patient's bone after metal osteosynthesis to obtain a detailed anatomical model.
Bone Modeling:
Using software, we convert CT data into a three-dimensional model of the bone, including the fixator and the fracture zone. We utilize radiological density to accurately reproduce the material properties of each component.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA):
We use ANSYS software to perform stress-strain analysis of the bone under different loads. We examine the stresses and deformations that occur at each load level and determine the optimal load that will promote safe and rapid fracture healing.

How It Works
The patient gets a CT scan and provides it to us.

The patient gives the completed calculations to their doctor.
The doctor creates or adjusts the rehabilitation program based on the obtained data.
